We Want Deep Things but Ignore Simple Things
Some believers want to know the Hebrew meaning of breakthrough but still owe somebody money they have conveniently forgotten! We travel from prophet to prophet seeking mysteries while ignoring basic principles: tell the truth, keep your promises, respect people, forgive, work diligently, live responsibly, and fear God.
Christianity is not an escape from good character.

God has given us Scripture, parents, teachers, pastors, mentors and even life experiences. Stop demanding thunder when wisdom is already knocking quietly.

Lord, deliver me from chasing spectacular revelations while neglecting simple truth. Give me grace to hear, obey, live morally and walk wisely. Amen.
