MESSAGE
There is nothing wrong with drinking milk when you are a baby. The problem begins when you have grown teeth but still refuse to chew.
Paul looked at the Corinthian Christians and essentially said, “Ah! You people are still here?”
They were born again, but not grown up.
They knew Christian grammar: “Amen!” “Fire!” “I receive it!” and “Back to sender!” But when it came to character, discernment, discipline, forgiveness and responsibility, the feeding bottle was still hanging around their necks.
That is an Àjẹ Wàrà Christian — a spiritual cheese eater.
YOU MAY BE AN ÀJẸ WÀRÀ WITHOUT KNOWING IT
Some Christians cannot make a decision without consulting seven prophets. One says, “Go.” Another says, “Wait.” The third says, “There is a woman from your father's side.” some will ask to bath ypu and Ajewara will not see anything bad in another man bathing him or her
Àjẹ Wàrà Christianity makes believers permanently dependent on other people's spirituality.
Pastors, teachers and prophets are given to equip us, not to replace our personal walk with God.
SOME OF US HAVE BEEN IN THE NURSERY TOO LONG
Hebrews 5:12 says:
«“For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again…”»
Simply put: “By now, you should have grown.”
By now, somebody should be learning prayer from you.
By now, you should recognise when Scripture is being twisted.
By now, every disagreement should not make you leave church.
By now, correction should not become persecution.
By now, when your name is omitted from the programme, your salvation should survive!
Some believers can bind Satan for three hours but cannot survive when somebody else is appointed chairman.
Immediately another person is promoted:
“Pastor does not appreciate me.”
Brother Àjẹ Wàrà, please collect your feeding bottle at the usher's desk.
Paul identified envy, strife and division as evidence of carnality (1 Corinthians 3:3–4).
Spiritual maturity is revealed by what happens when you don't get your way.
MILK CHRISTIANITY LOVES PROMISES BUT HATES RESPONSIBILITY
Tell an Àjẹ Wàrà Christian:
“This year you shall prosper!”
“Ameeeeeen!”
Then say:
“You must be diligent, disciplined and financially responsible.”
Suddenly, the prophecy has lost anointing.
Tell him, “Nobody can stop your destiny!”
“FIRE!!!”
But say, “Your bad character can close doors.”
“Pastor, are you referring to me?”
Yes, sir. The Holy Ghost knows your seat number.
Milk says, “God will bless you.”
Meat asks, “Can God trust you with the blessing?”
Milk says, “You are anointed.”
Meat asks, “Where is your character?”
Milk says, “God will fight your enemies.”
Meat asks, “Have you forgiven your brother?”
Milk celebrates what God can do for you. Meat prepares you for what God wants to do through you.
CHURCH AGE IS NOT SPIRITUAL AGE
Someone can spend twenty years in church and still be spiritually five years old.
Sitting inside a garage for twenty years will not turn you into a Toyota. Likewise, occupying the same church bench since 1998 does not automatically produce maturity.
The real question is not:
“How long have you been saved?”
But:
“What has Christ produced in you since you were saved?”
Can you forgive faster?
Can you control your tongue?
Can you receive correction?
Can you pray without somebody pushing you?
Can you study Scripture yourself?
Can you serve without recognition, microphone or title?
That is maturity.
DROP THE FEEDING BOTTLE
Hebrews 5:14 says:
«“But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age…”»
Beloved, yesterday's milk cannot sustain tomorrow's assignment.
Peter could not remain the disciple Jesus strengthened forever. Jesus eventually told him:
«“…when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.” — Luke 22:32»
There comes a time when:
“Pray for me” becomes “Let us pray.”
“Feed me” becomes “Let me feed somebody.”
“Who will encourage me?” becomes “Who can I encourage?”
“Give me a word” becomes “Thy word have I hid in mine heart.”
“Who will help me?” becomes “Lord, whose helper can I become?”
That is maturity.

FOOD FOR THOUGHT
Spiritual maturity does not mean you need God less. It means God can entrust you with more.
Babies are loved, but serious responsibilities are not committed to babies.
Perhaps your biggest enemy is not that witch you have been binding since 2007.
Maybe heaven is simply saying:
“My child, grow up.”
Drop the feeding bottle.
Open your Bible. Develop your prayer life. Receive correction. Build character. Learn discernment. Take responsibility.
MÁ ṢE DÁRAPỌ̀ MỌ́ ÀWỌN ÀJẸ WÀRÀ!
Grow from milk to meat, from dependence to responsibility, and from constantly being carried to becoming someone God can use to carry others.

Prayer
PRAYER
Father, deliver me from spiritual stagnation. Give me grace to become what I ought to have become by now. Deepen my understanding, mature my character and make me useful in Your Kingdom. I refuse to die in the spiritual nursery. I move from milk to strong meat, from infancy to maturity, in Jesus' name. Amen.
PROPHETIC DECLARATION
I will grow in grace, knowledge, discernment, character and spiritual responsibility. I will not remain an Àjẹ Wàrà Christian. I shall become mature, dependable and useful in the hands of God, in Jesus' name. Amen.
